Patent Engineer

Your responsibilities

Conduct patent research in various databases and analyze patent information
Identify patent infringement risks and provide technical support to the team
Prepare and file patent applications, and respond to office actions
Manage patent portfolios and ensure compliance with patent laws and regulations
Collaborate with R&D team to identify patentable inventions and provide guidance on patentability
Conduct patent landscape analysis and provide recommendations to the management team
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in patent law and regulations
Participate in patent litigation and provide technical support to the legal team

Your profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in patent law or patent prosecution
Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations in the EU Market , German market must
Excellent research and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in the home appliance industry is a plus
Native speaker or expert in German language (for German patent law), English language skills for daily communication is must
