Technical Product Manager - Electric Water Heaters (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Uncover and understand European customer needs and translate them into product technical requirements
Drive product development for European market, including coordination of global R&D and sales teams
Monitor water heater industry for emerging trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust or develop product technical strategies as needed
Understand and anticipate competitive landscape to plan products accordingly, including product performance, prices, selling points, sales channels, and other information of competing brands
Lead and/or facilitate product compliance and certification processes
Support commercialisation efforts, including new customer onboarding, trainings, expos, and other events
Participate actively in product and technology strategic planning
Drive external R&D collaboration to explore disruptive product innovation opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, partners, and suppliers

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent related experience
7+ years’ technical experience in residential water heater or related industry
3+ years’ experience in product management or equivalent
Strong technical background in electricity storage heating and related technologies
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional, cross-cultural teams in an inclusive, results-oriented manner
Knowledge database of competitive landscape of Europe
Proficient in English
Preferred:
- Background in electric water heating technical field and industry-leading companies strongly preferred
- Proficient in other European language(s) such as German, Italian, Spanish, Russian etc. preferred
