Technical Product Manager – Water Filtration, Softeners and Dispensers

Your responsibilities

Working closely with product and technical leaders, you will:

  • Be the technical and product expert on drinking-water-related appliances
  • Drive the strategic product planning for European market
  • Lead the local and/or overseas engineering teams to prototype new products  
  • Understand and uncover customer needs and translate them into product technical requirements 
  • Drive product development for European market, including coordination of global R&D and sales teams.
  • Monitor the industry for emerging trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust or develop product technical strategies as needed
  • Understand and anticipate competitive landscape and the competitor next moves to plan products accordingly
  • Lead or facilitate product compliance and certification processes
  • Support commercialisation efforts, including new customer onboarding, trainings, expos, and other events
  • Drive external R&D collaboration to explore disruptive product innovation opportunities.

Working Conditions

  • Up to 25% domestic/international travel as required by business needs for attendance at trade shows, client meetings, etc.
  • Working conditions are normal for an office and a test lab environment.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent related experience
  • 7+ years’ technical experience in drinking-water-related appliance industry
  • 3+ years’ experience in product management or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional, cross-cultural teams in an inclusive, results-oriented manner
  • Knowledge of EU relevant regulatory environment
  • Knowledge database of competitive landscape of Europe
  • Proficient in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background in relevant field and experience at industry-leading companies strongly preferred
  • Proficient in other European language(s) such as German, Italian, Spanish, etc. preferred
