Prototyping & Lab Technician - REF (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of prototypes for built-in refrigerators, ensuring alignment with product specifications and design intent.
  • Conduct hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes and laboratory equipment to validate product designs and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine prototypes based on testing feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces, ensuring a safe and organized environment for testing and prototyping activities.
  • Document test procedures, results, and modifications made during the prototyping process, providing clear communication to project teams.
  • Support various testing activities, including performance, durability, and usability tests, to gather data for product improvements.
  • Stay informed on new materials, technologies, and prototyping techniques to enhance the prototyping process and efficiency.
Your profile
  • Minimum qualification in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as a technician.
  • 3+ years of experience in prototyping, testing, or laboratory work, preferably in the home appliance or consumer electronics industry.
  • Proficient in using prototyping tools and equipment, including 3D printers, CNC machines, and hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues during the prototyping process.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
