Regulatory and Compliance Engineer - REF (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
  • Ensure all refrigerator products comply with local, European, and international regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and interpret new and existing regulations related to product safety, energy efficiency, and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to integrate regulatory requirements into product development and lifecycle processes.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and certifications for new products.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to advise on compliance strategies and risk management.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure continuous compliance with standards and improve processes as necessary.
  • Liaise with external certification bodies and authorities to secure product approvals and certifications.
Your profile
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the household appliances industry.
  • Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks (e.g., CE marking, RoHS, REACH, and energy efficiency directives).
  • Strong understanding of global safety and environmental standards for household appliances.
  • Proficient in MS Office and regulatory submission tools.
  • Fluent in English and German is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; German language skills are an asset.
  • Attention to detail, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
