Test and Validation Engineer - REF (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for refrigerators, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Conduct testing of prototypes and final products, including functional, reliability, and durability tests to validate product design and specifications.
  • Analyze test data and results to identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to propose design improvements and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance teams to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and reports to support regulatory submissions and internal reviews.
  • Participate in product development meetings to provide insights based on testing outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Your profile
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in testing and validation, preferably in the home appliance or refrigeration industry.
  • Proficient in test methodologies, equipment, and data analysis software; experience with automated testing systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes applicable to consumer products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing multiple testing projects and deadlines.
