Performance Engineer for Laundry Care

Your responsibilities

Responsible for the research and development of European washing machine technology, focusing on optimizing cleaning performance, energy efficiency, and user experience
Develop and execute laboratory test plans to validate washing performance and identify opportunities for enhancements
Analyse data from performance tests determine root causes of any performance issues
Work closely with the product development team to identify and implement solutions to performance issues, ensure a successful launch in Europe and competitive advantages of new products
Prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to development team

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field
8+ years of work experience in the field of product development preferably in the home appliance industry
Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles as they relate to washing systems
Familiar with Laundry Care-related EN standards and EU commission regulations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluent in German and English
