Your responsibilities
Product Compliance Management for European countries:
- Oversee the compliance of products with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., energy labelling and ecodesign, CE, REACH, RoHS, EMC, and other product specific obligations) to ensure successful market access and ongoing product safety.
- Execute regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with national and international laws, regulations, and standards for small domestic kitchen appliances products across all stages of their lifecycle (development, approval, post-market surveillance).
- Support the preparation and/or review regulatory documentation, including product test reports, certifications, and approvals to relevant regulatory authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations and implement necessary adjustments by monitoring and analysing regulatory trends, policy changes, and emerging regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on the potential impact of regulatory changes to the business and product design.
- Work closely with R&D teams, Quality Assurance, Legal, Marketing, and other teams to ensure compliance is embedded in the product development process from concept to commercialisation.
- Lead the identification and mitigation of regulatory risks. Conduct internal audits and ensure timely preventive and corrective actions are taken to address non-compliance issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and external organizations and represent Midea in relevant industry associations and promote their initiatives and advocacy programmes.
- Actively engage in relevant standardisation organisations and working groups (e.g., IEC, Cenelec) to develop product performance standards and analyse the impact of changes on our products.
- Testing and evaluation of product performances, User experience via empirical, analytical and expert methods based on local regulation, user analysis and design basis.
- Benchmarking and research analysis for evaluation of technical concepts and research to identify best practices determining the level of product improvement.
