Your responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Policy Governance
  • Serve as the EU subject-matter expert for global mobility, advising HRBPs and business leaders on complex assignments, policy alignment, and risk mitigation.
  • Design, implement, and govern competitive, compliant mobility policies for the EU region, balancing local practices with Midea’s global framework.
  • Continuously optimize policies, processes, and vendor strategies to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and assignee experience. 
End-to-End Assignment Management
  • Oversee the full assignment lifecycle (pre-assignment to repatriation/localization) for EU-based moves, ensuring compliance with local immigration, tax, and social security regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance to assignees, HRBPs, and leadership on compensation, benefits, and relocation logistics.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Compliance
  • Partner with HRIS(EDP), Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless process execution, data accuracy, and adherence to EU/global regulations (e.g., GDPR, A1 forms).
  • Manage assignment documentation (e.g., contracts, cost projections) and inter-company billing.
 Vendor & Performance Management
  • Lead relationships with EU relocation, tax, and immigration vendors; monitor service quality, costs, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with HQ CoE to align vendor strategies and leverage global scale.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years in global mobility, with deep expertise in EU regulations (immigration, tax, social security).
  • Proven success in policy design, stakeholder advisory, and managing complex international assignments.
  • Strong analytical skills, cultural agility, and ability to influence across geographies.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, French) advantageous.
  • Proactive, compliance-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
