Senior Specialist – C&B - MBT Climate (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities

1. Compensation & Benefits Design & Governance
  • Support the design, implementation, and governance of compensation structures, job grading, and benefits programs.
  • Align C&B practices with Midea Global HQ and Regional CoE standards while adapting to local regulations and requirements.
  • Coordinate annual compensation processes (salary review, bonus cycles, incentive plans).
  • Act as subject-matter expert and advisor on all C&B-related topics. Provide guidance and training to HRBPs and managers on compensation and benefits matters.
2. Post-Merger Integration & Harmonization
  • Drive harmonization of C&B frameworks across newly integrated MBT Climate entities.
  • Work with local HR teams to implement consistent policies while ensuring local competitiveness.
  • Provide support in due diligence and integration for future acquisitions.
3. Analytics & Benchmarking
  • Conduct job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and benefits market analysis using external survey data (Mercer, WTW, Hay, etc.).
  • Monitor pay equity and benefits utilization, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Deliver regular reports and insights to leadership, Global HQ, and the Regional CoE.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure C&B programs comply with local labor laws, tax, and social security regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in European labor and compensation regulations, particularly in the DACH region.
5. Compensation Systems Implementation
  • Collaborate with Regional CoE, HRIS, IT, and vendor teams to ensure systems meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Drive testing, data migration, and user training during new system launches or upgrades (e.g.SAP SuccessFactors, or other platforms).

Your profile

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
Experience
  • 8–12 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, ideally in multinational organizations.
  • Strong track record in job grading, salary benchmarking, compensation review cycles, and benefits administration.
  • Proven experience in compensation system implementation or optimization, ideally with platforms such as SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or other market-competitive tools.
  • Experience in post-merger integration of HR/C&B frameworks is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
  • Deep knowledge of compensation structures, benefits design, job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Hay, Mercer, WTW).
  • Strong analytical and HRIS/Excel skills (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar preferred).
  • Understanding of EU and DACH labor laws affecting C&B.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English and German required; additional EU languages a plus.
